Start
Each player pays a sum to the pool - a so-called ante. The Minimum is 25$, but often 10% of the minimum. You get 1 card closed (facedown) and then 1 card open. (the cards are dealt clockwise one at a time.)
1. round
The player with the lowest Open Card shall begin the bidding round. This is where the players report: Bet, Check, Call, Raise or Fold.
In games with Limit, bet and call reports in the first and second bidding round will be equal to the minimum, while raise reporting is the minimum rate once more.
At a $3 / $ 6 table, thats $3 for bet and call and an additional $3 at raise. Each player gets another 1 Open card. (players now have 1 closed and 2 open cards)
2. round
The player with the highest card starts bidding.
Every game gets another 1 Open card. (Players now have 1 closed and 3 open)
3. round
The player with the highest card begins. Usually, only 3 times can be raised. In play with the limit, bet and call will report in 3. and 4. bidding round, equal to the maximum effort. At a $3 / $6 table, thats $6.
Each player gets a last Open card
Last round
There will be one final bidding round. After the final bidding round, its Showdown for the players who are still in the game. At showdown, each player turns his closed card and the best hand wins the pot. The "house" (owner of the venue) usually takes a small part of the pool - the so-called Rake.
